ABOUT HOA’s (Homeowners’ Associations)
Remodeling your home's exterior sometimes is more complicated that just picking out the windows you want and having them installed. Some areas have Homeowner Associations who have rules and regulations that are established to keep the architecture's integrity in a particular area. In order to keep neighbors from straying too far from the rest of the neighborhood, they establish guidelines that must be followed in addition to the city constraints for your remodeling permit. Sometimes they even have an Art Jury or an approval committee that is established to approve remodeling permits or plans within the bordered area. When Homeowners buy in that area, they must agree to meet those guidelines, which often change over time (usually becoming more stringent).
Because Clark Adams Co. Windows and Doors has successfully worked with so many Homeowner Associations, you can count on their knowledge of how to get your project expedited and approved. Most Homeowner Associations in the greater Los Angeles region welcome our company and often recommend us to remodel because they know we will work within their guidelines and also meet the goals of the homeowner. We are also popular for our Renewal by Andersen Windows, which are one of the only manufacturers to meet even the most strict regulations of the most discriminating Homeowner Associations.
