Verifying Contractor Experience
How does a homeowner verify the claims of experience made by a contractor or tradesperson? In addition, what qualifies as “relevant experience”? If you pick up any print ad for construction services, often there is the claim of experience, such as “20 years experience”. That sounds like a lot of experience, sufficient enough for the type of work planned by the homeowner, so great, this guy, or company, can handle the job!
